Personalize it for each child

Every autistic child is different. Complete the form for each child if you're planning parties for more than one — the results are personalized to their specific sensory profile, not a generic autism checklist.

Print the checklist and share it

The Sensory Accommodations Checklist in Section 3 is designed to be printed and handed to anyone helping at the party — grandparents, aunts and uncles, older siblings. Brief your helpers before the day so you're not managing everything alone.

Use the Guest Note in your invitation

The Party Note at the bottom of Section 6 is ready to copy and paste. Drop it into your invitation message, a group text, or a printed note in the envelope. It sets clear expectations so guests arrive prepared — and you spend less time having conversations at the door.

Protect the reset window

The low-stimulation reset window in the schedule is not a placeholder — it's the most important part of the whole party. Don't fill it with another activity. Don't use it for cake. Protect that 15–20 minutes of unstructured time like it's the plan, because for your child, it is.

Small is enough

A 2-person party is a real party. A 4-person party is a real party. You don't have to invite the whole class. You don't have to match what other kids are doing. The right-sized party for your child is the right-sized party, full stop.
